How do I login to my Zyxel router?
This individual owned a Zyxel model EMG2926-Q10A router. The default username for this model router is supervisor or admin without quotations. The default password is supervisor or 1234 without quotations.
The gold tip for this question, is that you should probably change your router password from the default. Many Internet routers, you cannot change the default username. However, most if not all routers I have dealt with, you can change the password.
It can be a security risk not to change the default password. I was able to quickly find the default username and password for this Zyxel model EMG2926-Q10A router. If I was able to obtain this default login information, then anyone could have access to it.
Finally, in order to browse to the login page, you will want to type in 192.168.1.1 into a web browser. First you will want to connect your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etcetera into the router with an ethernet cable or through a wireless connection. Once that device obtains an internet protocol address then you should be able to login.
Your device must be on the same sub network. If the router internet protocol address is 192.168.1.1 then your device internet protocol address must be 192.168.1.X. The X is any number up to 255.
