Link Brave Rewards to Gemini
Another information technology problem in the world order. Brave Publishers claim that they will pay you to allow advertisements to show up in their Brave web browser periodically. If you register for Brave rewards, you receive free Basic Access Token crypto from Brave Publishers in exchange for viewing advertisements while you browse web sites.
However, recently my wallet no longer was verified by Brave Rewards. Brave Publishers has not paid for previous monthly rewards. I have had this same problem happen last year.
I believe one of the Brave web browser updates caused my Brave wallet to no longer become verified. When you verify your wallet you are able to deposit your Brave Rewards Basic Access Token into either your Gemini account or Uphold account. I decided to try to kill multiple cyber birds with one stone.
I am tired of Brave Rewards program not paying me on time. Last year I completely quit using Brave web browser because certain website(s) would not function normally. Also, Brave Publishers quit compensating me with my deserved free Basic Access Token crypto currency.
Around six months later, I received an email message stating Brave Publishers had deposited some Basic Access Tokens into my uphold account. I am going to try to link my Brave Rewards wallet with Gemini instead. Gemini will automatically deposit your Brave Rewards Basic Access Tokens into your account.
Also, this avoids having to go through the silly monthly captcha enforced manual deposit into Uphold, which sometimes will fail. I have not been impressed with the deposit of Basic Access Tokens into Uphold. Another disaster with Brave Rewards is that my current Brave Rewards wallet is basically hijacked.
I no longer have the option to backup my Brave Rewards wallet. Also, as I stipulated earlier my Brave Rewards wallet is no longer verified after a Brave web browser update corrupted the verification. You will want to click on the red Brave Rewards triangle icon to the right of the Brave web browser address bar.
Another window will pop up. You can then click on the gear icon next to "Summary". This will open Brave Rewards in either a seperate tab or window.
Also, you can type the following into your Brave web browser address bar to open Brave Rewards.
brave://rewards/
You may need to scroll down a little and then click on "Link Rewards to Gemini!" uniform resource locator. If you already have a Gemini account, you may want to log into your Gemini account now and then click that uniform resource locator web page link and or refresh that page. If you do not have a Gemini account, you will be asked to create a Gemini account.
You will want to click on the "Get Started" uniform resource locator web page link on the Gemini web page that opens up. You will enter in your first name, last name, middle name, email address, password, and optionally a promotional code. Then you will place a check into the privacy policy and user agreement box.
Then you can click on "Next". You will be asked to enter in a mobile telephone number to authenticate. You will receive a text message from Gemini.
I do not use dumb devices, I mean smartphones, so I do not actually have a mobile telephone number. I had to abandon the process of signing up for Gemini. You can continue on with whatever Gemini prompts you with.
Once you successfully create a Gemini account, you can try to link your Brave Rewards with Gemini. Gemini normally requires you to upload documentation proving who you are. You may or may not have to upload your documentation before you can link your Brave Rewards account with your Gemini account.
Once your Brave Rewards is linked with your Gemini account, you will receive your free Basic Access Token crypto in your Gemini account. These instructions were written as a how to link your Brave Rewards to Gemini trading platform. You may want to use Brave web browser, but can certainly try using other web browsers to facilitate these instructions.
