Another information technology problem in the world order. This time I am unable to verify again the Brave Rewards wallet. Brave Rewards has a quota of only four times that you can verify your devices.
What this means is that every time you verify your web browser or mobile web browser, you end up using up one of your four verifications. Brave Rewards does not care if your computer hard drive fails, you need to install Brave web browser again, or you want to add another device. This includes adding additional computers and mobile devices.
You only have four total Brave Rewards verifications. I have now reached my Brave Rewards verification quota. A recent Brave web browser update corrupted up my verified Brave Rewards wallet.
I cannot verify again because I have obviously reached the four verification quota. So far, Brave Rewards has been nothing short of a major disaster. This is the second time in a year or so that the Brave Rewards wallet has lost the verification.
Also, last year I did not receive any Basic Access Token payments owed for at least six months. Brave Publishers claims they are working on adding an option to remove devices from your Brave Rewards account. Until then, Brave Publishers ask that you contact them directyl and open up a support request.
You will want to include your custodian member identification or your Uphold account identification. Your custodian member identification can be found by opening this page in your Brave web browser.
brave://rewards-internals
You will want to look for your custodian member identification under External wallet info. You will see
Wallet status: Not connected
If you do not have a custodian identification but possess an Uphold account, you can look for your Uphold member identification. You will want to log into your Uphold account. Then, you will want to log into the Uphold classic view.
If you are logged into the newer Uphold interface, You can select Switch to classic view from the More option on the left hand side of your screen. Then you will need to right click on your Uphold dashboard window. You can now choose Inspect.
Also, you can click on the three vertical lines in the top right hand corner in Brave Web browser. Then you will want to scroll down and choose More tools. Now you will want to select Developer tools.
You will want to click on the Network tab in developer tools. Under the name column, you can look for and click on me. You may see multiple me fields.
You will need to select Response to the right of me. Now you can look for id to the right. You will want to scroll past fullName with the left and right scroll bar.
Your Uphold member identification may look something similar to this example below. There were four dashes and that Uphold member identification included both letters and numbers.
id:xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
If you do not have any working Brave Rewards wallets that are verified, then you can include with your Brave Publishers support request a message telling them that they can remove any of your previous devices. If you currently have one or more device wallets verified, you will want to make certain that you notify them which devices you do not want them to delete.
