Uploading a video to the Rumble.com video content platform is pretty straight forward. However, the copyright licensing aspect of it, is not necessarily that cut in dry. I will discuss the copyright licensing on Rumble.com later in this blog post.
First you will want to open up a free Rumble account. There is a free account and three paid for accounts, you can choose from. Once logged into your Rumble account, you click on the green camera icon next to your avatar or username.
You will want to choose "Upload Video". You can either select a video to upload by browsing your hard drive or dragging and dropping a video into the video upload tool. You are limited to video files of fifteen gigabytes or less.
In the "Video info" box you can enter in a video title. You can enter in a text description and or enter in a uniform resource locator web page link. The Rumble video content platform will create three thumbnails from the video that you are uploading.
Also, you can browse your hard drive and choose your own custom thumbnail by clicking on "or choose your own". You can type in optional tags that are descriptive of your video. I believe you can upload a video onto the Rumble platform without choosing a channel.
If you choose a channel, your video will be uploaded and accessible on your Rumble channel page that you picked. You can choose your Rumble video channel under the "UPLOAD TO" drop down list. If you do not yet have a channel you can create one then you can try uploading your video again.
I am not positive if you can move your video to a channel after uploading it without choosing a channel. Also, you can schedule the time that your video is made available on the Rumble video content platform. You will want to click on the "Schedule Video" box to insert a check.
You will see this message, "Select a date and time in the future for when you want your video to be published". Your local time zone will be displayed. You can then manually change both the date and time that is pre filled in that text box.
Finally, you will want to click on the "Upload" button. Eventually, you will see a "Your licensing options" window. There are four Rumble.com video licensing options to choose from.
* Video Management Exclusive
* Video Management Excluding Youtube
* Rumble Only
* Personal Use
The first two options gives Rumble exclusive ownership of your video. The second option will not make your video available on Rumble's Youtube channel. Rumble only means that your video will only be uploaded and available on the Rumble.com video content platform.
This third option allows you to keep the ownership of your video. The fourth and final licensing option does not monetize any of your videos. Also, your video is not searchable on the Rumble video content platform with the personal use license option.
The first three license options will monetize your video if approved. You may want to read over Rumbles licensing options before you choose one of them that is most suitable for your video. I prefer to choose the third licensing option "Rumble Only".
However, you may not prefer this choice and are encouraged to read over Rumbles copyright and licensing terms of agreement. That is how to upload a video to the Rumble video platform. After you upload your videos, you can embed them into web pages with a video embed code.
