How to Livestream on Instagram With Smartphone

Instagram today December twelve two thousand sixteen began rolling out live video broadcasts to all users. Initially, not every Instagram end user will be able to broadcast live. If your account was recently created, you may have to wait until you can live video stream.

Also, your live video automatically gets deleted after your live feed ends. You can share your live feed to your Instagram followers. You will want to update or make sure your version of Instagram on your smart device is current.

In order to share your live video broadcast:

* You will want to tap on top left of your screen or swipe right anywhere in your feed
* Then you will want to tap on Live on the bottom of your screen and then click on Start Live Video
* Your followers might become notified when you begin a live video stream
* The number of viewers appears in the top right of your screen
* Comments will appear at the bottom

You will want to tap Comment in order to add a comment. Then you can click and hold a comment in order to pin it to the top. You can turn comments off by tapping and selecting Turn Off Commenting.

Any keyword filters you have turned on will apply to comments on your live video stream. When you are completed, you can click on End in the top right then tap in order to confirm. At the time of this blog post creation, I do not have access to Instagram live video.
